Swim Academy software- Go Learn- Launched!

Liz and I are thrilled to now be in a position to share some really exciting news with all of our existing and prospective Swim Academy families! 

 

On Monday 21st August, we launched our new Go Learn software! It's used widely across the UK and abroad already and offers us a platform to improve our customer journey and quality of service as well as lay the foundations for our aspirations to expand our academy to give more young people the opportunity to learn to swim- in our opinion- a critical life skill.

 

For the children who are already in our swim academy- the registered email address on your account should have received an email from us explaining about how to activate your child's new account. If you have not received this email please drop us an email at 2rmjunioractivities@bcpcouncil.gov.uk. Do continue to come to your lessons as normal. 

 

The software allows existing members to:

  • View their child's progress through the criteria for each award level. Teachers need to see a skill correctly demonstrated 3 times to consider that element as 'passed'. Having this information at your fingertips may allow you to help your child progress when you bring them swimming outside of their lessons.
  • Alert you when your child has been awarded a badge- you can then visit reception to purchase this (if desired)
  • Alert you when the swimming teacher has identified that your child is ready to move to a new class. You will be invited to browse classes with an available space and instantly secure them in to the new class. 

The software allows new customers to:

  • Browse classes with availability, and secure a space instantly, including setting up the new payment plan. This gives those who are very keen to join, an easy and efficient process to do so.
